The Final Stand discussion topic.

PLOT SUMMARY
-Page 1-
The fic begins with the typical two opening posts, the second one not exactly relevant, and the first explaining a bit of the history of the continent. Subsequently, two enigmas, known as Snike and Cassius, rig and destroy a massive robot in Serinside. However, during their escape, they are separated and sent flying after a rocket-propelled grenade hits their mode of transportation. A few weeks pass. Lunaria walks through the desert with her doll/companion, Kylo, singing Scars in Spanish. Shira, Kusa, and Okami polish off a band of Marauders, and we get a small look into their pasts, ending with an ominous wind. Lenny, an imperial soldier, plans to exact vengeance on Volverein in the near future, as he gets ready to 'hit the hay', so to speak. Viewpoint switches to a young thief name Kisen, who is returning to his guild from a month-long voyage to Gee Faks with a mysterious sword he found around there. Unfortunately, he walks into an imperial massacre on said guild. He kills five of them, but his weapon breaks and the remaining infantrymen back him to the edge of a cliff. As he contemplates his death, a mysterious voice inside his head (mild insanity?) tells him to draw that sword he found. Kisen complies, gets awesome white armor, and utterly annihilates the remainder of the soldiers. He then walks into the guild, looking for survivors. We now shift to Scourge, where he and his companion Dr. Faustus are terrifying an imperial soldier, when someone approaches them. Meanwhile, the angel Minby is flying down to the continent, talking to his other persona about a prophecy. A few minutes later, a 'meteor', which is really a spaceship, crashes into Jawari, leaving two small craters, one near the desert, and one in the woods. Keith climbs out of the one near the desert, complains that that always happens, and goes to look for his companion. In Dwentor, a wanted magician known as Melissa buys a room at the inn and collapses into it instantaneously, falling asleep. The next day, she walks into the local tavern and finds out that the imperial soldiers are returning from a hunting trip that day. She immediately rushes outside and makes for the gate. unforutnately for her, the soldiers pass the gate at the same time. Most of them pass Melissa before one of the soldiers recognizes her, and she runs out of town, setting up a chase. Lenny gets up, and plans his revenge. After two hours of marching, the man see Volverein and rushes at him, breaking formation to get a chance to kill the vile mage. Around the same time, near Bytantum, TD walks out of a temporal shift(also known as bright flash of light), and begins to re-hack his satellite. Minby, seeing the disturbance, goes down and investigates. That's all for page 1.

-page 2-
TD introduces himself to Minby, and they talk a bit about the prophecy. Minby reveals that TD is a chosen one, and the inventor is taken back. Before they talk any more, about 20 imperial soldiers attempt to ambush them. TD cuts through 10 of them almost immediately, while Minby incinerates the rest with a fireball spell. The 'nerd' of the chosen suggest that they travel to a town that's west of their current position. We head back to Shira's group, where the second part of the meteor crashes near the group. They decide to investigate and find an unconscious woman in the shell of the meteor. Viewpoint shifts to Melissa, as she runs from the army. The mage kills seven of the ten soldiers, but she gets captured by the three survivors, only for them to be sniped by a mysterious man named Lyle. Around the same time, scourge and Faustus are attacked by a man clad in black. During the struggle, the enigma opens up a time-space rift, and drags the two of them in with him. Scourge ends up reappearing near Minby and TD, and he goes along with them, to said town to the west.

*Takes deep breath* Here we go. We find TD wondering who the hell scourge is, but the trio head to a nearby town anyways. We switch to Kisen, where he finds bodies astrewn in the guild. Opening a door, the ex-thief finds his leader Benett, who explains to him that the imperials were looking for a girl named Nicole, who they found on the plains three weeks beforehand, and that Jeremiah betrayed the guild. He subsequently dies from his injuries, causing Kisen to swear to kill the traitor. Kisen storms out, and finds a mysterious woman, unconscious, lieing behind a bush. He takes her down to the base of the mountain, and sets up camp for the night. Meanwhile, Scourge acts arrogant, and Minby creates a blue portal to the nearby town. Viewpoint switches to Shira, where he takes the mysterious girl out of the ship and climbs back up the hill, where Kusa is waiting. A few hours later, Keith is walking through the streets when he finds Trinity, KO'ed, on top of Okami. He rushes towards the group. We return to Dwentor, where Melissa questions Lyle, the sniper that saves her. We learn a bit more about him, before he leads her to his camp, gives her an extra tent, and the two fall asleep. Around the same time, Lenny stabs Volverein with a knife, supposedly killing him. After killing eight soldiers, and getting severely wounded, the man watches as Volve gets up and removes the knife from his chest, before being owned but someone hitting him on the head. We return to the Keshikite Mountain pass, where the mysterious lady awakes, and is revealed to be Nicole. The knight and the girl converse, and decide to go to Turgwon the next day. Mewt joins the fanfic (), and has Ephraim conjure a thunderstorm, aiming to kill Melissa and Lyle (). We move on to meet James Beckham, who comes across a giant wolf, and runs towards it. Meanwhile, Melissa snaps awake due to the thunderstorm, and is told by Lyle to get ready for a battle. The sniper subsequently shoots at Ephraim's foot. We head back to Shira and co., where Keith almost gets into a scuffle with Shira, and prepares to lead the group to his ship, when James runs in, and pretty much hyperventilates over Okami. Returning to Lenny, he wakes up and finds himself captured by the general, who brings him to a dark plaza, where Volverein was waiting. The right hand man grills him on where his rebel friends are, before thinking out loud that he needs the services of a 'doctor'. Finally, we return to TD's group, where they get out of the portal, and end up in Bytantum. TD splits up with Minby to get supplies, and the page ends. *exhales* *gasps for breath*

-Page 4-
Faustus is sent by the time-space rift into the room where Lenny is being held just as Volverein says he needs a 'doctor'. The good doctor is locked in with Lenny, and quickly formulates a plan to escape. Back near Serinside, Keith shows Shira and Co. his part of the space ship. We switch to Ephraim, who notices Lyle pointing a rifle in his direction. He quickly vanishes as the shot is fired, and finds himself at the base of the mountain. Viewpoint sitches to James, who has another hyperventilation attack over seeing the spaceship. Lenny is stabbed by Dr. Sadist (Faustus), who asks someone to help him move Lenny to somewhere more... suitable for his work, shall we say. A man complies, and carries Lenny out of the plaza. Back near the shuttle crash scene, Lunaria and Kylo see a pillar of smoke, run toward it, and find several people examining it, AKA Shira and Co. Back in Turgwon, Kisen and Nicole get into the city gates, rent a room at the inn, and slept for the night. The next day, Kisen goes to repair his stiletto, and he learns that Jeremiah has become the cities' magistrate. Heading towards, the residence, the knight/thief/paladin kills the guard before walking onto the front step and knocking the door. The man who answers it is immediately held at swordpoint. We return to Faustus and Lenny, where the man who was helping Faustus is quickly killed, and the good doctor literally steps into his skin, leaving Lenny in shock. He then grabs the young soldier and helps usher him out of the building.
Revisiting the crash scene, Shira notices Luna and, flustered, tries but fails to introduce everyone to her. Viewpoint switches to Lyle, who misses his shot, and then directs Melisssa to ingite half the forest, while he burns the rest of it, in an attempt to smoke Ephraim out. We now return to Lunaria and Shira's group, where Kylo and Luna have a little spat. Around the same time, TD is shopping in M-bay when imperial soldiers attack him. He makes quick work of them and runs to find Minby. Back at the oft-visited crash site, the group honors the deal and gives Trinity to Keith. Luna and Kylo joins the group, and they head to Serinside, Kusa teasing Shira about his sudden infatuation with Luna the whole way back. James grumbles about not being introduced, and thinks to himself that their new companion is so lovestruck that she doesn't notice much. Luna, meanwhile, sings Scars in Spanish to Okami, stopping when she starts to cry. Kylo advises her to stop singing the song, as it makes her cry every single time.

Shaking his head to get rid of the daze of falling onto the ground, Td260 looked around.
"well, here we are. about a day and a half away form the semi-major city Bytantum. We should stock up on weaponry, armor and healing potions and herbs before going out again."
M:"You said it- i don't want to die. Hey- where did the weird guy and the doctor go?"
"I don't know, or care, as long as they're away from me."
M:"Dude! Harsh!"
There's just something about that guy and his creepy doctor that rubs me the wrong way."
M:"Whatevs. listen- take this gold, and go buy a few reserve items. The ones we have now are fine, but it's always good to have a backup plan. Also, as you said, get some healing items. Since neither of us can heal, it's best if we can stay in peak fighting condition for as long as we can."

"Thanks man. I know exactly where to buy stuff. M-BAY!"
M:"M-Bay? WTF IS THAT?!?"
looking exasperated, Td260 shakes his head.
"It stands for merchant bay. It's a section of the merchant area in every village where, if you know the right people or have the right card, you can get into a secret auction house for buying new inventions or special weapons from across the seas for much cheaper than retail price."
M: "Er... good luck with that."

Not kusa. Honestly I don't think people are too attached to him, so it wouldnt be that effective killing him off. Get close to killing Okami, cause people do like Okami and it could make for some interesting story, and i dont know about shira.

Minby rushes into the battle zone and kills an undisclosed number of soldiers before dragging TD into an open area, where Minby's guardian angel is introduced to TD. A few streets away, Scourge takes out a few soldiers, then gets surrounded when he realizes just how much he relied on Faustus. The ex-soldier uses his dark mist spell, kills two imperials, and escapes towards Minby and Co. Speaking of Faustus, we get to hear Lenny's thought on his 'operation', as they head to some unknown location, presumably away from Capital City. Meanwhile, Shira strokes Luna's hair, earning a glare from Kylo. The group arrive at Serinside around midnight, where they sttumble into the inn. The next day, the group decides to a Kitsune temple near the forest, and subsequently Capital City, as suggested by Kusa and Keith, respectively. Back in Turgwon, Kisen grills the man, reveaed to be Jeremiah, about the imperial Raid on their former guild. The magistrate escapes the knight, reappears in armor, and beats him down, subsequently throwing Kisen into the dungeon. Back to the battle in Bytantum, Scourge covers TD while he charges his laser (No, not shoop-da-woop). A new PoV is added as Questor and company battle assassins. Luke nearly gets killed by Snike, the Blazing Flash, while Lamahl and Tristan get KO'ed. The only one keeping them from dying is Djaq, who fights with a sword instead of his preferred staff. Questor sees Luke getting cut up, and duels Snike. He cuts the Lord in the stomach, causing him to retreat behind his assassins. They eventually overpower the head of the Royal Guard, but Snike orders his men to retreat before they can kill Questor, creating a wall of fire to prevent pursuit which burns Questor's sword arm. Back to TD, where he unleashes his satellite laser, destroying the attacking imperial soldiers. We switch back to Questor, who wakes up from a dream of the aforementioned battle, which occurred 3 years ago. He falls asleep again, resuming from where he left off. Par steps out of the shadows, converses with Questor, and they head to Tukana's tent. There, Tukana orders Questor and Lamahl to take Luke to Gee Faks so he can be healed. Questor leaves Tristan in charge with orders to send Djaq in the case of an assassination. Back to the present, Djaq was wondering where the Royal Guards were. Twenty miles north, the Guards and Par march to Turgwon, thinking Questor and co. were there. After getting amubushed in the tavern by Imperial soldiers, Par returns to camp, and gets five men to rescue a 'high-profile' prisoner from the dungeons that night. During the internim between the raid, we move to Keith, who checks on Trinity and finds her awake. He brings her downstairs to meet everyone. Back to Turgwon, where Par and Co. slay six soldiers and subsequently slither(Tongue-Twister!!!) into the dungeon, where they find a sole prisoner, who looks up as Par asks who he is. Finally, the point of view switches to Vode and Volverein, who reminisce about their childhood. Volverein then tell Vode that Minby's back, and exits the room. That's it for this page.

Keith brings Trinity down and introduces her to the group. After taking her to Okami, the group then gets their belongings ready to go to the Kitsune temple. *Omits scene where Kylo compliments Shira for seemingly no reason.* Anyways, they travel for five days before they get to the forest, where Kusa gets possessed. He then leads the group through the forest, heading towards the temple. We switch to the Overlord and Volverein, as they spy on the group, scheming to capture Shira and his wolf. Back to Turgwon, where the prisoner is revealed to be Kisen. He and Par exchange a bit of dialogue, then the Guard breaks him out, and brings the man to their camp. Luna wakes up, to Kylo's message that there is evil afoot. James does an aerial search, but finds nothing, so the group continues to the temple, where Kusa becomes infused with the Two-Tailed Kitsune spirits. A little fox Luna has hisses at the trees, and we switch away from that cliffhanger with returning to TD's group. Apparently, the laser was so strong that they sent two days away from Neo City, and they argue over that incident and whether or not they should go to said city. We head back to the Royal Guard camp, where Tristan interrogates Kisen. He and Nicole join them, and the group heads to Quaft the next day on a tip Par heard in the tavern. Returning to the arguing group, TD informs them that soldiers are two hours away. Cue flashback, as Questor and Par are asked by a mysterious stranger to go with them. Back to the Royal Guards, where the group gets ambushed by assassins, to end the page.

I meant like the Imperial infantry. They don't even have sniper rifles. I wasn't aware we had a specific type of character named imperialtist. Plus I was staying out of sight of them, not finding them on the ground.

Anyways, Higuy complained about MY character being broken. Just look at TD!

TD's the one controlling the laser. Raiden just hacks it for him.

i set coordinates. he activates it. also, i'm relying on it a bit too much... but it's only a finishing blow. I cannot use it more than once in a few "days" and the whole satellite goes down for a short time after using it- it's basically like losing about 2-3 attacks. it's actually just like the dahos laser. and remember, i attacked with a really long, charging attack right before using it. as i said, it's only a finishiong blow. and there will be many bosses in the future that will emit "Disruption" that will prevent me from using it. so stop complaining- i hear how i'm a little broken, so i'm sorry. i'm going to fix it. and the key word in my last fight post was MIGHT. shira may still be this raging half demon thing. i just KO'd him. he'll wake up soon, and i'll leave that post to luca.
