The Continent of Jawari

Here it is. Hopefully that IMG code thing works... Let me answer a few questions you might have... before you even ask them! WAHAHA!

Q: It isn't good enough.
A: Then make one yourself.

Q: It's a really low quality image.
A: You're a low quality individual. If you had made a map using nothing but Paint and your imagination, with no artistic ability, yours would suck this bad too.

Q: The Northeast corner of the continent looks like a dragon's face. WTF?
A: I think it looks cool, personally, and what I say is law, so stfu. The island that looks like its eye is called The Dragon's Eye, not to be confused with the other island, The Dragon's Horn. On the Dragon's Eye is a tower called Solancer Tower. It extends upwards, beyond human sight, above the clouds. Might as well be infinitely tall. It would be, if that were physically possible. You can see the tower from the top of a mountain on the other side of the continent. Yes, THAT tall. (SPOILER the tower is the home of Jack END SPOILER) Speaking of mountains...

Q: You messed up the position of the mountains.
A: By that, you actually mean "The mountains aren't where I want them." Which, to be honest, is something I don't care about. My map, nyuka. Make your own if you don't like it. And even then we probably won't use it. The mountains and mountainous regions are where they are for a reason; "strategically located," if you prefer.

Q: Why is the swamp so big? Why is the desert so small? Why does the forest wrap around the plain?
A: To get to the other side? WAHAHA! I don't know why I made the swamp that big. Hope you like water if you plan on going west of the mountains, lol. The desert is small because it doesn't need to be big. Think about what's there. The Rebel Base... that's it, since I decided not to use SMAC's nomad idea. The forest wraps around the plains because it looks cool and going straight from mountains to plains doesn't exactly make sense. And it looks cool.

Q: The Sacred Lake is so big, it looks like it could be a small sea.
A: It's sacred for a reason. I plan on going plot-twist apeshit on that thing, BTW.,

Q: SMAC: Where can my character's evil lord guy subplot go down?
A: Gee Faks would be my suggestion, Clayton. Or one of the other cities in that area. All the other cities are either non-plains, Neo-style, or one of the Serinside Trio.

A: People nowadays are so rude. They don't ask questions, they just state their opinion as fact.

EDIT2: Oh yeah, and I forgot. The big square next to Sacred Lake is the Capital of the Empire. The small dots around there are the hidden villages of those one elusive people SMAC mentioned. Can't remember what he called 'em.

The main city where the main villain (Which I'll start to show you after this post) rules his army from should be in the center mountainous region. The New age "Neo-Tokyo" city should be just outside the forest area. The resistance city where all the rebels live should be somewhere in the desert.

Just my 2 cents.

anyways,
put a few villages in the central area. they can be a people known as the Tekawai. they live hidden from the main villain and his army.
have a trio of cities in the south east (have one close to the forest) that form a kinda coalition/alliance thing. Serinside, Bytantum, Tratorion.
have a few settlements in the desert occupied by the semi-nomadic Yufusi.
the largest city (the villain's city doesn't count) on the continent, Gee Faks, can be in the central south, just north of the desert.

Just to add my two cents, I'd like a holy city, or temple, or something to the extreme north. If you could do that, it would be called Mythamis.

put a city in the middle of the eastern forest, that almost know one knows about. Arblont.
in the swamp, put a couple small cities. Carnivon, Khaskhan.
for the highlands, in the north: Rotone, central: Pruliferi, and south: Turgwon.
in the north, a few cities in valleys by the mountains would be good. Dwentor, Jogonho, Quaft.

Kyutharais for a village hidden deep in the swamp, forest or mountains.

I suggest a hidden town in the desert, or a hideout, or something like that.

K, I gave several hours for feedback on cities and the results are in. Any suggestions on cities after this will be ignored, so as to avoid confusion by me, because I get confused easily.

I will now begin integrating the current information into the map.

I take it the whole continent is one empire, since the evil guy rules from the big city in the highlands. Good, that'll save me some effort and thought.

Oh. They're right next to each other, pardon the confusion.

EDIT: Wait, does he mean that the ruler lives in the Sacred Lake area? The mountains in the center are just the ring around the lake, and they're way too close together/high up for a city to be there.

I believe that is what he was referring to. he may have assumed there was a valley between lake and mountains.

Doesn't matter to me, I just made the map. I doubt anyone else is actually going to do much on the water, though.
