Jab locks ftw. I personally don't believe he'll go up much and definately not because of this. Jab locks aren't anything new and a lot of characters have something like it. The thing about jab locks is it's hard to set up, and it's hard to execute it perfectly consistently.

Higuy, you are actually right about one part of that: jab locks won't save Link from being bad.

I disagree with another part of that, though: while most jab locks are hard to setup/situational, Link's is surprisingly easy to do, even against a live opponent in person. Sure, they can tech the landing, but on the off chance that they don't... death. And even if they do, throw another 'rang, it may hit them again... and so on. It's called tech-chase, and it really isn't in Brawl that much, but it was huge in Melee.
